I worked as a table steward at an United Kennel Club obedience event last January. I took along a camera and made a couple of photos. Watching the dogs work reminded me greatly how much training my poor suffering dogs lack.

"Puppy" This is an Alaskan Klee Kai puppy.

"The Momma Dog"

"Who? Me?"

"Land Shark"
Love the puppy shot. I've said for a long long time there are 2 breeds I would love if they came in a mini size. Boxers and Huskies. And I did look into the breed you posted here, but it's still so new as to not be well established so I might as well just rescue something that "looks" like one from the pound.
ReplyDeleteAlaskan Klee Kai. Who knew? When I was a kid, we had a book of dog breeds, which I carefully memorized.
ReplyDeleteFor a while I was able to keep up on all the "new" dogs. In fact a work, a co-worker used to challenge me with pictures from her daily dog photo calendar. Sometimes I could get the breed by the description she sent.
Now I am always surprised and chagrined when I read about a breed that I've never heard of or I'm unable to identify the exact breed of dog by a calendar picture.
Alaskan Klee Kai. What sweet faces!I wonder what they are like.
I am on the hunt now to find Finn's "correct" breed, as I am pretty sure at this point that he was sent down the wrong puppy chute.
