Get lower than your subject for a different perspective. I am laying on the ground. The dog is sitting.

Chester

Chester, the 10-month-old Basset hound, is in my Monday morning manners class. He cracks me up. Tech note: When I get down on my elbows to photographer Chester, he ends up sitting on my head or targeting the lens neither of which makes for an attractive photograph.
